Medium: tactile paving and confectioners gold spray. Location: the Zuidas, the new financial district in the south of Amsterdam. Target group: the one percent, the bonus bankers, the new rich. Originally the here used gold spray is meant to decorate bonbons. Making this as well an ephemeral intervention, a temporary graffiti which - unintentionally - corresponds to the financial sector's short memory. The latter kinship with decadent consumption, with compulsive behaviour, makes the choice of medium even more appropriate. Coinciding with the international sculpture route ARTZUID, taking place at the same location, this work could be regarded as an alternative side project, as the 'off program'. __________________________________________________________________
